LUSAKA, July 16, 2026 – Thousands of worshippers gathered in Lusaka’s Matero Township on Wednesday as the General Overseer of The Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Revival Movement, Pastor Lazarus Muoka, began a two-day healing and miracle crusade during his visit to Zambia.

The Nigerian televangelist, who travelled from Lagos for the crusade, attracted believers from across Zambia as well as neighbouring countries, including Zimbabwe, for what church organisers described as a special revival and healing programme.

The service, which was attended by a packed congregation, began with prayers, worship and testimonies before Pastor Muoka delivered a sermon centred on faith, repentance and the power of God to heal and transform lives.

During the healing session, several worshippers came forward to testify that they had experienced healing after prayers.

Some people who had reportedly been using walking sticks were seen walking without assistance, while others testified that they had received relief from various illnesses. One worshipper also testified to regaining sight after prayer, prompting loud celebrations from the congregation.

The testimonies were met with applause, singing and thanksgiving from the thousands of believers gathered at the venue.

Throughout the service, Pastor Muoka urged Christians to remain steadfast in their faith, live holy lives and trust in God during times of difficulty.

The Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Revival Movement is headquartered in Lagos, Nigeria, and was founded by Pastor Lazarus Muoka. Over the years, the church has expanded across Africa and other parts of the world, holding large evangelistic crusades that draw thousands of worshippers.

Pastor Muoka is well known for organising international revival meetings focusing on salvation, healing, deliverance and spiritual renewal.

Church members said some believers had travelled long distances from different parts of Zambia, while others came from neighbouring countries, including Zimbabwe, specifically to attend the Lusaka crusade.

The visiting preacher is expected to remain in Zambia for another day, where he will conduct a second and final service on Thursday. Organisers are anticipating another large turnout of worshippers.

The two-day crusade forms part of Pastor Muoka’s international evangelical outreach, which has seen him hold similar revival meetings in several African countries and beyond.
