The National Reconciliation Party for Unity and Prosperity -NRPUP- has, with immediate effect, pulled out of the TONSE Alliance.

NRPUP Secretary General NONDE MUBANGA announced the development at a press briefing this evening.

Mr. MUBANGA said this follows the NRPUP’s careful consideration in collaboration with stakeholders.

He also said the party has objectively made the decision to pull out of the TONSE Alliance owing to the prevailing circumstances in the nation.

Mr. MUBANGA said the party will, in due course, chart the way forward on its political affiliation.
