PRESIDENT Hakainde Hichilema has assured the people of Chilubi Island in Northern Province that the long-standing challenge of having no tarred road will soon be addressed.

President Hichilema said government has listened to the concerns of the people of Chilubi Island. “We have listened to our people in Chilubi Island, Northern Province. Your concerns that Chilubi Island has no tarred road will soon be a thing of the past,” he said. The President noted that Chilubi Island has agreed to move forward together with government. “We love you mwebena Chilubi Island. Go and vote for us this August.
