“On my 13th birthday, Daddy had a surprise waiting for me.
He held my hand, smiled, and took me into a huge warehouse. Inside were thousands of what he called our nation’s “nuclear guardians.” I looked around in amazement as he gently placed his hand on my shoulder.

“Ju Ae,” he said softly, “your great-grandfather had a dream. Your grandfather carried it forward. Your daddy has done his part. But one day, when I am no longer here, I will need you to continue it.”

Then he looked into my eyes and said,
“The West will call you many names, just as they call me today. They may call you a bully, a dictator, or whatever fits their own narrative. But never forget why this exists.”

He pointed around the room and continued,
“To us, this is power. It is the strength we believe gives our people a voice at the highest tables of world politics. You must build an iron mind, stay strong, and never be afraid of who you are.”

Then Daddy hugged me tightly, kissed my forehead, and whispered,
“I love you, Ju Ae.”
