PRESIDENT Hakainde Hichilema rallied thousands in Dundumwezi, Kalomo, Southern Province, urging them to vote “in huge numbers” for the United Party for National Development in the Aug. 13 general election to safeguard ongoing development.

Addressing the crowd, Hichilema thanked residents for their turnout.

“Thank you very much nobana Dundumwezi, Kalomo in Southern Province for coming in thousands to our meeting today,” he said.

The President made a direct appeal on voting choices.

“On voting day, go and vote for us in huge numbers so that the great things we are doing and yet to do can continue in our Country. Don’t vote for those who used to beat you,” he said.

Hichilema said his administration remains committed to job creation, agriculture support, and infrastructure.

“We will continue delivering for you. We are determined to continue developing our Country,” he said. “More jobs. More Agriculture support. More roads and many other economic activities will continue to be delivered.”

He said peace and stability should guide voters’ decisions.

“Peace, security and stability is assured and this is why all of you nobana Kalomo should vote for us this August,” he said. “We love you. We care for you. We will continue delivering for you.”
