PRESIDENT Hakainde Hichilema says the UPND government will continue creating jobs and making agriculture viable as the party campaigns ahead of the elections.

Addressing thousands of residents in Nyimba District on Friday, President Hichilema said the party had so far taken its message to Copperbelt, North Western, Western, Central and now Eastern Provinces.

“At every meeting with our people we have agreed to continue moving forward by voting for UPND in this election,” he said.

The President assured residents that jobs remain a priority. “If you are not employed today but someone you know was employed by this government, don’t lose focus, you are next,” he said.

He added that as a nation of farmers, the government will continue supporting agriculture in districts like Nyimba.

President Hichilema thanked Nyimba residents for turning up “in thousands” and called on them to vote for UPND.
