Welder
Qualifications Grade 12 Certificate (minimum requirement). Trade Test Certificate / TEVETA certification in welding or metal fabrication. Experience Minimum 3 years’ proven experience in welding within a fabrication workshop, construction, mining, or industrial setting. Experience in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints. Exposure to structural steel, stainless steel, and aluminium welding. Familiarity with quality control standards and inspection procedures. Ability to fabricate, assemble, and repair metal structures. Competence in using grinders, cutting torches, and welding machines. Strong understanding of metal fabrication processes. Good record-keeping and ability to follow technical specifications. Personal Attributes Attention to detail and precision in workmanship. Physically fit and able to work in demanding environments. Team-oriented, with good communication skills. Professional integrity and adherence to safety protocols. Willingness to work long hours or shifts in industrial settings. Other Requirements Knowledge of safety standards. Ability to adapt to different industries (construction, mining, manufacturing)
