Description: Job Purpose The Warehouse Assistant will closely with the Warehouse Supervisor and team to ensure efficient warehouse operations. Be responsible for ensuring inventory is processed, organized, package, scan, and prepare orders for delivery. Duties and Responsibilities Move inventory and materials across facilities Process inventory for delivery Assist with receiving, storing, and dispatching of stock Ensuring cleanliness, tidiness and safety of work environment. Support Inventory management and cycle counts Assist in maintaining and Filing warehouse records. Performing a daily physical stock count and inspection of the warehouse grounds. Communicating errors to relevant parties. Assist in sorting, organizing and store inventory in the proper location Package items and label correctly Scan delivered items and ensure quality Work as an active team member to complete team goals Assist in preparing documentation and inventory for audits Primary Areas of Accountability: Qualifications and Experience Must have a Full Grade Twelve certificate Diploma in Purchase and Supply Management, Stores/Warehouse Management or Business Management Must have a minimum of 3+ years work experience in stores/ warehouse management Working in the FMCG or manufacturing sector in the same capacity will be a plus Must be physically able to lift Must be a member of ZIPS Preferably based in respective location of application with own accommodation (Kitwe or Ndola) QUALIFIED & EXPERIENCED FEMALES ARE ENCOURAGED TO APPLY FOR THIS POSITION If you meet the minimum hiring requirements for the above position, please email your CV and Cover letter clearly stating your salary expectations to: jobs@bemconsult.com and copy in bemconsult8@gmail.com Note that, all communications will be kept in the strictest of confidence.
