The organization is guided by a Country Strategy (CS) 2022 – 2026, which outlines Plan International Zambia’s programmatic ambitions with a specific focus on SOYEE, IQE, SRHR and ECD. Gender, child protection, influencing, and climate change remain cross cutting issues. The CS has a specific focus vulnerable and excluded children particularly adolescent girls, as they are often the most marginalized and most often left behind. It is against this background that the Plan International Zambia is soliciting quotations for medical insurance scheme/cover, Group Life Assurance (GLA) and Group Personnel Accident (GPA) for members of staff for a period of one (1) year Offerors MUST quote for each complete component. Plan International Zambia reserves the right to award the services to 3 different vendors for the 3 categories advertised 1. MEDICAL INSURANCE SCHEME/COVER Benefits must be per insured life per annum. The medical insurance cover will run for an initial period of 1 year i.e. from 1st September 2026 to 31st August 2027. Thereafter, the contract may be renewed annually for a period not exceeding 3 years and subject to satisfactory performance. Number of primary staff is 93, spouses 59 and children: 197. Total Number of lives: 349. GROUP LIFE ASSURANCE (GLA) The GLA cover will run for an initial period of 1 year i.e. from 1st September 2026 to 31st August 2027. Thereafter, the contract may be renewed annually for a period not exceeding 3 years and subject to satisfactory performance. Number of primary staff is 93. Insurers should consider 1 month annual gross salary. The total annual wage bill will be shared at the request of the insurer. The proposal must include: · Cost Proposal · Technical Proposal · Limits of liability/person · Rate · Funeral benefits · Commuter benefits · Replacement benefits · Period of cover – 1 year Only providers of GLA cover must submit proposals for the GLA. Technical Proposals A concise technical proposal on how the Offeror will carry out the activity to include the following: · Detailed product description for each item quoted. · A product brochure, or catalog for each product would be preferred. · Availability and estimated delivery time. · Detailed description of services provided. · At least 3 past performance references for the last three years, including the name of organization, name of contact, address, telephone number, and email for organization, ZMW amount of contract for each reference. · Current list of health care providers (for Medical insurance) · A description of the Offeror’s capability and experience in undertaking this task together with copies of supporting documentation including: Certificate of Registration for the Organization Audited Financial statements for the past 3 years Tax Clearance Certificate Pensions and Insurance Association of Zambia (PIAZ) ii) Cost Proposal · The Offeror should submit their most competitive price proposal. · All costs must be stated in Zambian Kwacha (ZMW) only. Other Requirements · Plan International is exempt from VAT and should not be quoted in the total price. · Quotations must include validity of prices and other details, no less than 90 days. · Vendor must be registered to do business in Zambia.
