Team Lead – Sales & Marketing Hillview Blossoms Limited – Lusaka Sales Outlet Role Purpose The Team Lead – Sales & Marketing oversees Lusaka outlet operations, sales, customer service, and marketing, while coordinating with Farm Operations to grow revenue, strengthen the brand, and maintain premium cut‑flower standards. Key Responsibilities Shop & Operations Management · Oversee daily outlet operations, ensuring efficiency, cleanliness, quality, and company standards. · Manage stock, coordinate replenishment with Farm Operations, and maintain fresh, attractive displays. · Ensure opening, closing, cash handling, and policy procedures are followed. Team Leadership & Staff Supervision · Lead and mentor staff to meet daily, weekly, and monthly targets. · Train staff in customer care, product knowledge, sales techniques, and digital engagement. · Manage schedules, performance reviews, and disciplinary matters. Sales Growth & Customer Care · Deliver excellent customer service and maintain high team standards. · Promote premium flowers and seasonal specials through upselling and cross‑selling. · Build relationships with walk‑in, corporate, premier, supermarket, event, hotel, and florist customers. · Support key accounts through order coordination, timely fulfilment, and premium service. · Resolve customer complaints promptly and professionally. Marketing & Brand Visibility · Maintain and grow Hillview Blossoms’ presence on Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, and the company website. · Create weekly content plans for products, promotions, bouquets, and farm‑to‑shop stories. · Track engagement and adjust campaigns to grow reach, enquiries, and conversions. · Coordinate product updates, new varieties, and promotions with Farm Operations. Market Intelligence & Prospecting · Identify new customer segments, corporate accounts, and partnership opportunities. · Monitor competitors and track market trends in Lusaka’s floral and gifting sector. · Prepare weekly and monthly sales and marketing reports with actionable insights. Analytical & Digital Tools · Use QuickBooks Online, Excel, and customer portals to analyse sales, invoices, stock, and reports. · Use data insights to improve sales, service, and efficiency. · Prepare ZRA Smart Invoices within 72 hours of each sale. Qualifications & Experience · Diploma in Marketing, Sales, Business Administration, or a related field is an advantage. · 2–3 years’ experience in retail sales, customer service, or marketing; floriculture or FMCG experience is an advantage. · Ability to lead teams and manage retail operations. · Strong analytical skills and practical QuickBooks Online and Excel experience. · Excellent communication in English and at least one major Zambian language. · Strong customer care skills and commitment to premium service. · Able to multitask, work under pressure, and meet sales targets. · Essential experience in social media management.
