Kawambwa Sugar Limited is seeking a qualified and motivated SHEQ Supervisor to support the implementation of the company’s Safety, Health, Environment and Quality (SHEQ) Management System across farming operations. Key Responsibilities The successful candidate will: Conduct SHEQ inspections and compliance monitoring across operational areas. Support hazard identification, risk assessments and incident investigations. Monitor implementation of corrective and preventive actions. Deliver SHEQ inductions, toolbox talks and awareness programmes. Monitor PPE compliance, emergency preparedness and environmental controls. Conduct compliance audits and maintain SHEQ records and reports. Supervise contractor SHEQ compliance and support operational managers in maintaining safe work practices. Serve as the first point of contact for operational SHEQ matters. Qualifications Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Management, Quality Management, Social Sciences, Public Health, Development Studies, or a related field. Relevant SHEQ certifications and First Aid/Fire Fighting training will be an added advantage. Experience Minimum 1-3 years’ experience in SHEQ, Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Management, Agricultural Operations, Community Development, or a related field. Experience in inspections, risk assessments, incident investigations and compliance monitoring is essential. Experience in agricultural or industrial environments will be an added advantage.
