President Hichilema to cast vote at Kabulonga Boys Secondary School

PRESIDENT Hakainde Hichilema is expected to cast his vote at Kabulonga Boys Secondary School in Lusaka at 12:00 hours today.

According to a media notice issued by State House Chief Communications Specialist Clayson Hamasaka, the President will be accompanied by his family.

State House said President Hichilema was being briefed on the ongoing electoral process across the country and was encouraging citizens, particularly young people and women, to continue turning out to vote.

The Head of State has urged citizens to remain calm, exercise maximum patience and cooperate with election officials as voting continues, according to State House.

He has further called for peace, tolerance and respect for the electoral proceedings as citizens exercise their democratic right to vote, according to State House.

Republican President Hakainde Hichilema, accompanied by his family, will cast his vote at Kabulonga Boys Secondary School at 12:00 hours today.

Interested local and international media houses, as well as local and international election observers, are welcome to cover the President’s arrival and voting.

The Head of State is being fully briefed on the ongoing electoral process across the country and is encouraging citizens, especially the youth and women, to keep turning out in numbers.

President Hichilema urges all citizens to remain calm, exercise maximum patience and cooperate fully with election officials as voting continues.

The President reiterates his call for peace, tolerance and respect for the electoral proceedings as citizens exercise their democratic right to vote.
