The Zambia Law Development Commission (ZLDC), a statutory body established under the Zambia Law Development Commission Act, Chapter 32 of the Laws of Zambia, invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced Zambians. Job Purpose To undertake legal research and analysis to inform the Commission’s recommendations for law reform, legal opinions, and submissions on matters under consideration. Key Duties and Responsibilities Conduct legal research on matters under review by the Commission. Analyse Bills and other subject matter referred to the Commission and provide research input. Prepare legal research reports, opinions, and analytical inputs. Participate in consultations and internal review processes by providing technical input and clarification. Supervise Research Officers and manage delivery of assigned outputs. Minimum Qualifications and Experience Full Form V/Grade 12 School Certificate. Bachelor’s Degree in Law. Minimum five (5) years experience in legal research or policy analysis. Minimum two (2) years experience in a formal supervisory role.
