Safety & Quality Officer Department: Engineering Location: Project Site We are seeking a Safety & Quality Officer to support construction project activities, with equal responsibility for Safety Management (50%) and Quality Management (50%). Key Responsibilities Conduct regular site safety inspections and identify hazards and unsafe conditions. Monitor PPE compliance and safe working practices. Monitor high-risk activities such as working at height, hot work, lifting and electrical works. Conduct and support Toolbox Talks, safety briefings and training. Report and support investigations of incidents and near misses. Conduct quality inspections to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications and standards. Monitor construction workmanship, materials and work processes. Identify, document and follow up safety and quality issues until corrective actions are closed. Maintain accurate safety and quality records, reports and checklists. Support inspections, testing and project handover activities. Promote a strong safety and quality culture across the project site. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Safety Engineering or a related field. 1–3 years’ experience in construction or project site management. Knowledge of construction safety requirements and quality control procedures. Ability to identify site hazards and construction quality issues. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Strong communication, coordination, problem-solving and follow-up skills. Strong attention to detail and sense of responsibility. Willingness to work on a construction/project site.
