Role Overview: Safety Management Training Officer Jobs in Solwezi As a Safety Management Training Officer, you will develop and deliver comprehensive safety training modules focused on CRM and Human Factors. You will lead workshops, simulations, and practical sessions to raise staff awareness and improve performance. Your role includes conducting engaging in-person and digital training sessions, toolbox talks, and site-specific inductions tailored to operational needs. You will also assess the effectiveness of training programs and provide constructive feedback to drive continuous improvement. Collaboration with management is key to aligning training initiatives with the organisation’s safety objectives. Maintaining accurate training records and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements will be an important aspect of your responsibilities. Key Responsibilities Deliver safety training focused on Crew Resource Management (CRM) and Human Factors principles. Facilitate workshops, simulations, and hands-on sessions to enhance staff safety awareness and performance. Provide engaging in-person and digital safety training, including toolbox talks and site-specific inductions. Evaluate training outcomes and recommend improvements for ongoing program effectiveness. Work closely with management to ensure training aligns with organisational safety goals. Maintain comprehensive training records and ensure adherence to regulatory standards. Qualifications and Experience Recognised national qualification, diploma, or bachelor’s degree in safety management, Industrial Psychology, Human Factors, or a related discipline. Strong understanding of CRM principles and Human Factors applications is highly desirable. Proven experience in safety training within high-risk industries such as mining, oil & gas, aviation, or construction is advantageous. Excellent presentation, interpersonal, and coaching skills in English; multilingual abilities are a plus. Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in safety management or training roles. Valid Zambian driver’s license with willingness to travel to various sites as required.
