Hillview Medical Centre is inviting applications for the position of Registered Nurse / Midwife based in Kitwe, Parklands. Purpose of the Job To provide high-quality nursing and maternity care services, ensuring patient safety, effective clinical management, and exceptional patient support in accordance with professional medical standards. Main Duties Deliver comprehensive nursing and midwifery care to patients. Manage and support maternity services, including prenatal, delivery, and postnatal care. Monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and maintain accurate clinical records. Coordinate with the medical team to ensure effective patient care and treatment plans. Maintain strict adherence to healthcare regulations, safety protocols, and ethical standards. Qualifications & Experience Valid practicing license. Minimum 5 years post-registration experience. Proven experience in maternity services. Personal Attributes Empathetic and patient-centered. High level of professional integrity and accountability. Ability to work independently with minimum supervision. Highly reliable with strong attention to clinical detail. Skills Strong clinical and patient care skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Critical thinking and quick decision-making capabilities in emergencies.
