The Energy Regulation Board (ERB) is recruiting a qualified and experienced Zambian national as Personal Secretary at its Head Office in Lusaka. The position is permanent and pensionable and reports to the Director – Legal and Secretarial Services. JOB PURPOSE Provide secretarial services to the departmental head and staff to enhance the department’s efficiency and effectiveness. MAIN DUTIES • Type confidential and non-confidential memoranda, letters, reports and notices • Draft correspondence and provide word-processing support • Perform photocopying, scanning, binding and other clerical duties • Screen and prioritise calls, correspondence and visitors • Manage calendars, appointments, meetings and reminder diaries • Maintain office supplies, stationery and records • Coordinate travel, accommodation and logistical arrangements • Maintain secure filing systems and take meeting minutes REQUIRED SKILLS • Secretarial and typing skills, including shorthand • Office administration and records management • Strong English communication skills • Confidentiality, integrity and professionalism • Good interpersonal, organisational and computer skills MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS • Grade 12 Certificate with five credits or better • Private/Personal Secretary Certificate with 100 wpm shorthand and 65 wpm typing speed • Office Management Certificate or Executive Assistant Certificate • Minimum 4 years’ relevant post-qualification experience, including at least 2 years managing a senior office • All qualifications must be verified by ZAQA HOW TO APPLY Complete the ERB pre-application form at https://forms.cloud.microsoft/r/7PV58vnGYr?origin=QRCode.
