[capdrill.com], [capdrill.com] As part of the commencement of a new project in North-Western and Copperbelt Province, we invite suitably qualified and experienced candidates to apply for the following positions: 1. Drill Supervisor (02 Positions) Job Purpose To provide effective on-site safety leadership while ensuring optimal production from assigned drill rigs through supervision, coaching, and operational management. Main Duties Provide day-to-day safety leadership and ensure compliance with all HSE, legislative, and company requirements. Promote and maintain a safe working environment for all personnel. Identify training needs and ensure implementation of approved training plans. Monitor training standards and provide timely feedback to management. Supervise drilling operations to achieve production targets safely and efficiently. Ensure compliance activities and reporting requirements are completed within stipulated timelines. Monitor crew performance and enforce operational standards. Skills & Knowledge Required Certificate IV in Occupational Health and Safety (or equivalent). Minimum of 4 years’ hands-on drilling experience (excluding offsiding) across various drilling techniques, including RC, Diamond, RAB, and Water Bore Drilling. Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Drill Supervisor role. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work under pressure and manage diverse drill crews. Must successfully pass a pre-employment medical examination. 2. Diamond Driller (03 Positions) Job Purpose To achieve optimal production from assigned drill rigs through safe, efficient, and professional drilling operations. Main Duties Conduct drilling operations in accordance with company standards and client requirements. Operate diamond and RC drill rigs safely and efficiently. Train and mentor national drilling crews. Apply industry best practices and drilling techniques. Ensure compliance with company HSE requirements and site-specific procedures. Conduct daily inspections, maintenance checks, and equipment servicing. Perform preventative maintenance and assist with mechanical repairs as required. Maintain accurate operational records and reports. Skills & Knowledge Required Minimum of 4 years’ drilling experience (excluding off-siding). Proven experience in RC exploration, grade control, and diamond drilling. Experience operating booster and auxiliary equipment. Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn. Knowledge of drill rig operation, truck mechanics, land cruiser mechanics, and hydraulic systems. Excellent safety awareness and commitment to operational excellence. Must successfully pass a pre-employment medical examination. 3. Driller Assistant (06 Positions) Job Purpose To support the Driller in achieving production targets while maintaining high safety standards and ensuring compliance with site procedures. Main Duties Assist the Driller in all drilling activities. Safely handle drill rods, equipment, and consumables. Lay out, split, mark, and store core/percussion samples according to client requirements. Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping around the drill site and equipment. Assist with rig mobilisations, demobilisations, and site setup activities. Record drilling metrics and production data accurately. Carry out environmental and housekeeping tasks as required. Promote safe working practices and report unsafe conditions. Skills & Knowledge Required Grade 12 Certificate. Previous drilling or mining experience will be an added advantage. Physically fit and capable of performing demanding manual work. Ability to work in remote locations and on rotational shifts. Strong safety awareness and teamwork skills. Good communication and record-keeping abilities. Valid driver’s licence will be an added advantage. 4. Driver (03 Positions) Job Purpose To safely transport employees, equipment, and materials while supporting efficient drilling operations at project sites. Main Duties Operate light vehicles and buses in compliance with company and site regulations. Conduct daily vehicle inspections and pre-start checks. Report accidents, incidents, and mechanical defects promptly. Safely transport employees to and from drill sites. Ensure assigned vehicles are clean, roadworthy, and operationally ready. Comply with all traffic regulations and company transportation policies. Transport approved materials with appropriate documentation. Escort contractors and visitors where required. Support housekeeping and environmental compliance activities. Skills & Knowledge Required Grade 12 Certificate. Valid PSV and Class C or CE Driver’s Licence. Minimum of 3 years’ experience driving in mining or remote-site environments. Good knowledge of road safety regulations. Defensive driving certification will be an added advantage. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Must successfully pass a pre-employment medical examination 5. Chef (02 Position) Job Purpose To prepare high-quality meals, maintain food safety standards, and provide an excellent dining experience for employees and visitors. Main Duties Prepare and cook meals according to approved menus and recipes. Ensure meals are presented and served to high-quality standards. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene within the kitchen and food preparation areas. Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management. Ensure proper food storage, handling, and stock rotation. Comply with food safety, health, and sanitation standards. Minimise food wastage and manage kitchen resources efficiently. Assist with menu planning and development. Operate and maintain kitchen equipment safely. Supervise kitchen assistants where required. Skills & Knowledge Required Grade 12 Certificate. Certificate or Diploma in Food Production, Culinary Arts, Hospitality, or a related field. Proven experience as a Chef or Cook in a camp, hospitality, or mining environment. Knowledge of menu planning and kitchen operations. Strong understanding of food hygiene and safety standards. Good organisational and time management skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Strong communication and teamwork skills. 6. Cleaner (03 Positions) Job Purpose To maintain a clean, hygienic, safe, and orderly work environment by ensuring all assigned areas are cleaned and maintained to the required standards. Main Duties Clean and sanitize offices, meeting rooms, kitchens, washrooms, and other designated areas. Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors as required. Empty waste bins and dispose of waste according to company procedures. Replenish cleaning supplies and toiletries. Dust and clean furniture, equipment, windows, and surfaces. Report maintenance issues and safety hazards to the supervisor. Store cleaning equipment and materials appropriately after use. Assist with event setup and cleanup activities. Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene standards. Skills & Knowledge Required Grade 12 Certificate. Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience will be an added advantage. Knowledge of cleaning methods, materials, and equipment. Ability to work with minimal supervision. Good attention to detail. Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks. Honest, reliable, and punctual. Strong commitment to cleanliness and workplace safety.
