Position Title: Marketing Manager (X 1)
Department / Project: Radio Kabangabanga
Location: Solwezi District, Zambia
Reports To: The Station Manager – Radio Kabangabanga
Background:
The Catholic Diocese of Solwezi is seeking to recruit a suitably qualified Marketing Manager to be stationed at Radio Kabangabanga within Solwezi district.
Roles and Responsibilities:
As Marketing Manager you shall work under the supervision of the Radio Station Manager.
Maintain a contact database for the Station.
Design and implement innovative promotional campaigns and events that engage audiences and meet client needs.
The marketing's role shall be scouting for clients and bringing in business in the form of programmes and/or programme sponsorship, advertisement, and announcements.
To ensure the marketing concept is followed in all business dealings by producing quality programmes, adverts, and announcements.
Be able to meet targets as directed by the supervisor.
Keep old clients and scout for new markets for the institution's products.
Promote good relationships with clients.
Develop and improve on existing marketing strategies.
Develop and write appropriate proposals to donors and other potential partners.
Do any other work as might be directed by your supervisors.
Key Working Relationships:
Internal: The Marketing Manager will report to the Station Manager.
