Key Responsibilities for Machinist Jobs in Chingola Interpret and follow engineering drawings accurately to guide machining tasks Utilize precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and verniers Operate both CNC and conventional machining equipment Perform pre-machining and final machining of components to exact specifications Maintain and enhance machining techniques, tooling jigs, and fixtures Conduct thorough inspections of completed work to ensure compliance with standards Support implementation of workplace safety, health, and environmental protocols Participate actively in safety and quality meetings, adhering to operational procedures Machine a variety of materials and produce precision-engineered parts Follow production orders and instructions with precision and attention to detail Skills and Attributes Required Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong ability to interpret technical information and organize tasks effectively Proven teamwork and interpersonal skills Systematic work approach with keen attention to detail Solid engineering knowledge related to machining processes Reliability, flexibility, and adaptability in a dynamic workshop environment Minimum Qualifications and Requirements Valid Trade Test Certificate in machining Full Grade 12 Certificate Membership with the Engineering Institution of Zambia (EIZ) How to Apply for Machinist Jobs in Chingola Interested candidates are invited to submit their applications and detailed CVs via email to Sarah.Nayame@sulzer.com.
