LUSAKA INTEGRATED SOLID WASTE MANAGEMENT COMPANY EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES THE ORGANIZATION The Lusaka Integrated Solid Waste Management Company (LISWMC) was established following the enactment of the Solid Waste Regulation and Management Act No. 20 of 2018 as an autonomous Solid Waste Management Utility in order to provide effective solid waste management services in the City of Lusaka. In its quest to provide solid waste management services, LISWMC is looking for suitably qualified, creative and self-driven individuals for the following positions to join the Company, to be based in Lusaka. JOB TITLE: Legal Counsel (Company Secretary) – Fixed Term Contract (01 Position) JOB PURPOSE: To provide legal advisory services, manage legal matters, compliance and risks, and provide Board secretariat services in order to safeguard the interests of the company. Reports to: Chief Executive Officer REQUIREMENTS Full Grade 12 School Certificate or equivalent. Bachelor of Laws (LLB) Degree or its equivalent. Advocate of the High Court of Zambia. Member of the Law Association of Zambia (with a current practicing certificate). At least eight (8) years’ work experience, of which four (4) years should be at management level. Computer literacy and ability to maintain accurate legal and case records. Tact and diplomacy.
