Key Responsibilities for IT Hardware Technician Intern Jobs in Lusaka Assist with the installation and configuration of IT hardware such as desktops, laptops, and printers. Perform troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repair of computer hardware. Support routine hardware maintenance and servicing activities. Assist with operating system installations and software setup tasks. Help manage and track IT assets to ensure accurate inventory control. Provide both on-site and remote technical support to clients and staff. Document technical issues encountered and the resolutions applied. Candidate Requirements Diploma holder or currently pursuing a qualification in IT or Computer Engineering. Basic understanding of computer hardware and networking principles. Familiarity with Windows operating system installation. Experience or skills in using a multimeter will be advantageous. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written. Possession of a valid manual driver’s licence is mandatory. Preferred Additional Skills Experience in hardware repair and maintenance. Knowledge of imaging and deployment tools. Basic networking knowledge beyond foundational concepts.
