Environmental Health Technologist
Coptic Hospital invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates for the position of Environmental Health Technologist.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct environmental health inspections and assessments within the hospital.
- Monitor compliance with environmental health, hygiene, sanitation and safety standards.
- Ensure proper waste-management and disposal practices.
- Conduct health and safety awareness activities and guide staff on environmental health matters.
- Identify environmental health risks and recommend corrective measures.
- Maintain accurate records and prepare relevant reports.
- Perform other duties assigned by management.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Environmental Health or a related field from a recognised institution.
- Verification of all qualifications by ZAQA.
- Registration with HPCZ and a valid practising licence.
- Relevant work experience is an added advantage.
- Good communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a hospital environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
