DRIVER (1 POSITION) – SOLWEZI OFFICE The Occupational Health and Safety Institute (OHSI), a statutory body under the Ministry of Labour and Social Security, invites applications from suitably qualified candidates. Job Objective: To drive institutional vehicles for the mobility of officers, materials and equipment while maintaining vehicles in good condition. Key Duties: • Drive light vehicles and passenger buses. • Ensure roadworthiness, cleanliness, insurance and road tax compliance. • Enforce seat-belt and road-safety requirements. • Deliver officers, materials and equipment safely and on time. • Report accidents promptly and maintain vehicle security. Requirements: • Full Grade 12 Certificate. • Valid PSV driving licence with eligibility to drive buses. • At least five years’ driving experience in a reputable organisation. • Good knowledge of traffic rules, RTSA regulations and basic vehicle mechanics. • Strong interpersonal, communication and customer-service skills. • The supplied advert also states that the applicant must be a Lusaka resident with practical knowledge of Lusaka routes.
