Right to Care Zambia (RTCZ) has provided public health service delivery and technical assistance in partnership with the Ministry of Health since 2016. Its work includes HIV/AIDS, maternal and child health, epidemic response, malaria and TB, public health research, social behaviour change, laboratory services, pharmaceutical supply chains and non-communicable diseases. Position: Data Analytics (4 Positions) Number of vacancies: 4 Contract type: Fixed Term. Contract duration: TBA. Location: TBA, as listed in the advert. Reporting to: Data Analytics Lead Date advertised: 10 September 2026. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Data Science or a related field. • Specific database-management training is an advantage. • At least three years’ experience in business intelligence tasks and database design, development and management. • Experience developing Power BI solutions, reports, visualisations and analysis. • SQL proficiency for extracting/manipulating data for reporting and decisions. DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or another advanced quantitative field. • Dataset ingestion, data models, dashboards and KPI experience. • ETL processes and data marts experience. • Experience with eLMIS, SmartCare Pro, QAT and PCMT. • Experience supporting data-quality audits and verification surveys. KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS Database and systems development • Design/develop databases and support testing and implementation of applications and enhancements. • Institutionalise analytics tools, including the Consumption Anomaly Detection tool, within eLMIS, SmartCare Pro, QAT and PCMT. • Perform database/information-system backup and restore procedures. Analytics and data use • Produce dashboards, reports and products for national, provincial and hub-level monitoring and decisions, including supply-chain performance. • Oversee data cleaning and write SQL queries for donor reporting, M&E and routine decisions. • Explain technical data, including Power BI outputs, to non-technical audiences. Data quality and verification • Support data-quality audits and end-use verification surveys. • Develop adequate, accurate and legitimate data-collection techniques. • Support security and access governance; enforce data-management guidelines. Requirements and reporting • Lead user-requirements discussions and translate needs into technical requirements, user stories and use cases. • Provide technical input and respond to ad hoc requests for data, analysis, presentations and information. Capacity building • Work alongside government data staff to strengthen analytics and data-use capacity. • Provide capacity building and technical assistance on tools such as Power BI. • Perform other responsibilities assigned by the Data Analytics Lead.
