About the Camp Services Officer Role Reporting directly to the Camp Services Coordinator – LEP, the Camp Services Officer will ensure efficient administrative services and travel management across the project. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting accommodation services, travel coordination, and contractor access, enhancing operational excellence in line with Barrick’s core values. Key Responsibilities for Camp Services Officer Jobs in Zambia Support and improve Accommodation Services Systems by identifying opportunities and implementing enhancements. Conduct regular inspections with housekeeping teams to maintain health, safety, and cleanliness standards in accommodation facilities. Assist with managing contracts related to camp management, inflight services, travel, busing, and contractor camp cost back-charges, ensuring SOX compliance. Provide guidance on travel and camp-related matters to Department Heads. Coordinate year-end review processes by serving as the sectional contact and maintaining accurate records. Maintain a fully functional administrative office environment and related services. Support quality delivery of travel and camp services, including business travel and busing. Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders in alignment with Barrick’s Community Relations Policies. Manage and update registers for incoming contractors and visitors to facilitate smooth site access and induction processes. Collaborate closely with Surveillance, Access Control, and Security personnel for effective access management. Qualifications and Experience Required Grade 12 school certificate. Diploma in Business Administration, Hospitality, Project Management, or equivalent. Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role. Basic understanding of project management principles. Experience in multi-site industrial environments is advantageous. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). Class B or C manual driver’s license. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively at all organizational levels.
