ABOUT THE ROLE Stimuli PR is seeking a proactive and commercially minded Activations Specialist to support the planning, selling and execution of brand activations. This junior role is ideal for someone who can develop practical activation ideas, prepare client-ready proposals, coordinate logistics and suppliers, and help convert activation opportunities into revenue. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Research client brands, target audiences, competitors, consumer behaviour and market opportunities to support relevant activation strategies. Develop creative activation concepts, campaign mechanics and audience experiences that respond directly to client objectives and brand positioning. Prepare activation plans covering objectives, target locations, consumer journey, engagement activities, staffing, materials, timelines, logistics and performance indicators. Create pitch decks, proposals, cost estimates and activation budgets for prospective and existing clients, ensuring that ideas are both compelling and commercially practical. Support sales and business-development activity by identifying prospects, generating leads, preparing credentials and following up on activation opportunities. Participate in client meetings and presentations, clearly explaining proposed concepts, execution requirements, budgets and expected results. Conduct site visits and coordinate venues, permissions, routes, schedules and other operational requirements for roadshows, launches, promotions, trade shows and experiential campaigns. Source, brief and coordinate suppliers, promoters, brand ambassadors, production teams, venues and other service providers, ensuring clear deliverables and timelines. Coordinate the production and delivery of branded materials, uniforms, point-of-sale items, display units, promotional stock and other activation assets. Maintain accurate control of client collateral, promotional stock and company equipment used during activations, including issue, return and condition records. Support and supervise on-site execution, including setup, team briefings, brand presentation, consumer engagement, troubleshooting, quality control and close-out. Ensure activation teams follow approved scripts, data-capture requirements, brand guidelines, safety procedures and client instructions. Track project timelines, supplier commitments, costs and budget utilisation, and promptly report risks, delays or potential overruns. Collect and organise activation evidence and performance data, including photographs, attendance, leads, samples distributed, sales, engagement and audience feedback. Prepare clear post-activation reports that summarise delivery, results, learnings, challenges and recommendations for future campaigns. Work with digital and content teams to extend on-ground activations through social media, user-generated content and other supporting communication channels. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business Administration, Event Management or a related field. 1–3 years of relevant experience in brand activations, experiential marketing, events, promotions, sales support, client service or agency work. Demonstrated interest in activation strategy, business development, client acquisition and practical campaign execution. Strong presentation, proposal-writing, communication, coordination and problem-solving skills. Good organisational ability, including managing several tasks, suppliers, promoters and deadlines at the same time. Basic understanding of activation budgets, quotations, logistics and supplier management. Digital and social-media awareness, with an understanding of how on-ground experiences can generate content and engagement. Willingness to travel and work outside standard office hours when required for activations and events. A valid driver’s licence and basic familiarity with event or audio-visual equipment will be an added advantage.
