JOB VACANCY: ACCOUNTANT We are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented, and experienced Accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the company’s accounting functions and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. Key Responsibilities: ● Manage and maintain the General Ledger. ● Prepare and reconcile VAT accounts and ensure timely VAT submissions. ● Prepare monthly Management Accounts. ● Submit and file statutory and financial returns. ● Prepare, monitor, and manage company budgets. ● Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards. ● Oversee all accounting procedures and internal financial controls. ● Reconcile bank accounts and other balance sheet accounts. ● Assist with audits and provide financial reports to management. ● Perform any other accounting duties as assigned. Qualifications & Requirements: ● Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. ● Professional qualification (ZICA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) is an added advantage. ● Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar accounting role. ● Strong knowledge of accounting principles, VAT regulations, and financial reporting. ● Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. ● Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. ● Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
