Human Resources Officer Jobs in Lusaka Falane Solutions Limited invites qualified candidates to apply for the position of Human Resources Officer based in Lusaka, Zambia. This full-time role offers an excellent opportunity for professionals with 1 to 3 years of experience to contribute to the effective management of human resources functions, ensuring compliance with Zambian labour laws and supporting the organizationโs HR operations. Position Overview: Human Resources Officer Jobs in Lusaka The Human Resources Officer will play a key role in supporting recruitment activities, maintaining accurate employee records, assisting with payroll administration, and facilitating day-to-day HR processes. The successful candidate will help foster a positive work environment while ensuring adherence to statutory requirements and organizational policies. Key Responsibilities Recruitment & Onboarding: Assist with staff recruitment and selection, prepare job advertisements, screen applications, coordinate interviews and induction programs, and prepare employment contracts and onboarding documents. Employee Records & Administration: Maintain up-to-date employee files and HR records, manage attendance and leave, coordinate exit procedures, and ensure confidentiality of HR documentation. Payroll & Statutory Compliance: Support payroll preparation, ensure timely and accurate statutory deductions including NAPSA, NHIMA, and PAYE, and liaise with Finance and relevant authorities as needed. Labour Law & Compliance: Ensure compliance with Zambian labour laws, assist in disciplinary and grievance handling, and support enforcement of HR policies and procedures. Performance Management: Coordinate performance appraisal processes, maintain performance records, and support staff training and development initiatives. Employee Relations: Act as a liaison between management and employees, promote a professional work environment, and address employee concerns promptly and professionally. Qualifications and Requirements Diploma or Bachelorโs Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field. 1 to 3 years of practical experience in Human Resources. Strong knowledge of Zambian labour laws and HR best practices. Familiarity with payroll processes and statutory deductions including NAPSA, NHIMA, and PAYE. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Word and Excel. Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
