Confirm your voter details

Check that your name, polling district, constituency and polling station match the final register before polling day.

Know your four ballots

Voters choose a President, Member of Parliament, Mayor or Council Chairperson, and Ward Councillor.

Carry your voter identification

Follow current ECZ instructions on acceptable identification and use the polling station assigned in the register.

Mark one choice clearly

Follow the ballot instructions, mark the selected candidate clearly, and place each ballot in the correct box.

Protect ballot secrecy

Vote privately. Do not photograph a marked ballot or allow anyone to pressure or buy your vote.

Use verified results

Treat social-media totals as reports until a returning officer or ECZ verifies or declares them.
