This is according to a press statement issued by Godfrey Chilabi, Police Public Relations Officer. Mr Chilabi said Nawa has been transferred from the Zambia Police Training College to take over Western Province from Rae Hamoonga. Hamoonga has been moved to Copperbelt Province as Commanding Officer. He replaces Mwala Yuyi, who has been transferred to Zambia Police Service Headquarters in Lusaka. “During the transition period, all media enquiries relating to Copperbelt and Western provinces should be directed to the Public Relations Officer. Media will be advised once the handover is complete to channel enquiries directly to the respective commanding officers.The Zambia Police Service appreciates the continued cooperation and support of the media,” the statement said.
