Lusaka - Zambia: King Wilem-Alexander of the Netherlands has congratulated President Hakainde Hichilema on his re-election as President of Zambia.

King Wilem-Alexander of the Netherlands has congratulated President Hakainde Hichilema on his re-election as President of Zambia.

His Majesty has expressed a firm belief that the excellent ties between Zambia and the Netherlands will continue to develop during President Hichilema’s time in office for the benefit and prosperity of citizens of both countries.

Meanwhile, President of the Republic of Djibouti, Ismail Guelleh, has sent a congratulatory message to President Hichilema on his re-election.

And the President of Equatorial Guinea, Obiang Mbasogo, has also congratulated President Hichilema on his successful re-election.

This is according to a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.
