TWO FUEL DEPOTS BURN AS UKRAINE POUNDS SOCHI THROUGH THE NIGHT

The scale of last night’s attack on Sochi is becoming clearer. OSINT analysts have identified fires at two separate fuel facilities:

▪️The “Bazovy AviaToplivny Operator” aviation-fuel and refueling complex, which supports aircraft operations at Sochi International Airport.

▪️The Lukoil-Yugnefteprodukt oil depot in the Adler district, a regional storage and distribution facility previously struck in July 2025.

Russian authorities have confirmed a fire at an oil depot but have not publicly acknowledged two separate facilities. The second identification therefore remains based on footage and open-source geolocation.

The fuel sites were only part of a broader coordinated operation. Ukraine’s Navy confirmed that the Russian support vessel Nefrit was struck in Sochi’s port, while explosions and reported hits were recorded around Russian air-defense positions, including a suspected S-300/S-400 site.

Sochi sits roughly 530 kilometers from the nearest active front. Ukraine nevertheless reached its port, aviation-fuel infrastructure, commercial fuel storage and air-defense network during the same night

This was not one drone slipping through. It was a layered attack designed to overwhelm defenses and hit several connected parts of Russia’s military and logistical system at once.
