Police Officer Accused of Smiling with Opposition Leaders Removed

Chief Inspector, Lyson Mbewe, Officer-inCharge Mfuwe International Airport has been removed.

He is accused of over-smiling when he received Tonse-Pamodzi Alliance Vice President and Brian Mundubile’s Running Mate, Makebi Zulu.

Makebi Zulu had traveled from South Africa after the Edgar Lungu Supreme Court if Appeal ruling to join the Eastern Province campaign leg.

Lyson Mbewe recieved Makebi Zulu where he is accused of being seen in the live broadcast of  “expressing happiness and over-smiling at the sight of the Makebi Zulu entourage.

Police Command has deployed him to Lusaka for redeployment.
