Pezeshkian: Iran Will Never Become Like Venezuela

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said Iran will never become like Venezuela, arguing that the world has been surprised by the country’s military ability to defend itself.

Speaking to state media, Pezeshkian said Iran is currently facing a difficult situation involving what he described as “two simultaneous invasions” — one economic and the other military.

He stressed that Tehran remains determined to resist external pressure, expressing confidence that Iran can overcome the challenges through its resilience, national strength and defensive capabilities.
