MUNDUBILE, MAKEBI LOOKING FORWARD TO TREASON TRIAL.

Opposition leader Brian Mundubile and his running mate Makebi Zulu are looking forward to appearing in court to answer charges of treason.

Mundubile’s lawyer, Milner Katolo, says his client is ready to face the allegations and have the matter determined through the judicial process.

Katolo says Mundubile maintains his innocence and is prepared to defend himself against the charges in court.

Zambian Watch News understands that Mundubile and his legal team are confident that the trial will provide an opportunity to challenge the State’s case and demonstrate that the allegations against him are unfounded.

A total of 19 people, including Mundubile and his running mate Makebi Zulu, have been charged with treason.

The case is expected to attract significant public attention as the opposition figures prepare to appear before the courts to answer the serious allegations.

The accused persons remain innocent until proven guilty by a competent court.
