FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Citizens First (CF) wishes to categorically dismiss false and misleading claims circulating on social media alleging that its President, Harry Kalaba, has endorsed President Hakainde Hichilema.

These claims are entirely untrue. President Kalaba has made no such endorsement, and the party is not engaged in any discussions, negotiations, or arrangements of that nature.

The misinformation being propagated is a deliberate attempt to confuse the public, mislead Citizens First members, and undermine the party’s growing support ahead of the forthcoming elections.

We urge Zambians to disregard such propaganda and rely only on official Citizens First communication.
Citizens First remains firmly committed to its founding principles of integrity, accountability, transparency, good governance, and the fight against corruption.

President Harry Kalaba has consistently demonstrated that he will not compromise these values for political convenience, choosing principle over expediency at every stage of his public service.

Political alliances or endorsements can only arise where there is a genuine convergence of values and national purpose. At present, no discussions or considerations regarding an endorsement of President Hakainde Hichilema are taking place, and any suggestion to the contrary is false.

We call upon all Citizens First members, supporters, and the general public to remain calm, united, and focused. Do not be misled by politically motivated falsehoods. Citizens First remains steadfast in offering Zambians credible, principled, and people centered leadership.
