PRESIDENT Hakainde Hichilema on thanked residents of Nangoma for their support and urged them to vote for the UPND in the Aug. 13, 2026 general elections.

President Hichilema said he was “grateful to our people in Nangoma, Central Province for agreeing to continue moving forward with us.”

“We will continue to deliver for you basazhima,” he said.

The President also thanked Senior Chief Shakumbila of the Sala-ila speaking people of Shibuyunji and Mumbwa districts “for calling on us to continue delivering development across Zambia.”

Hichilema said the government’s vision of a localized economy would help areas like Nangoma in Shibuyunji grow through agriculture, mining, livestock and other sectors. He said the approach would strengthen provinces, districts and constituencies and contribute to the country’s economic fundamentals.

“Mwatapiluka muunshi nubana Nangoma. Kumbele bulyo,” he said.

The President reaffirmed that “free education is here to stay,” and said there would be “no cadres harassing you. No segregation.” He said equal distribution of resources was a core value of his administration, citing an increase to the Constituency Development Fund and its simultaneous distribution.

“On the 13th August, 2026, go and vote for the UPND,” Hichilema said.

“Twalumba chini nubana Nangoma. God Bless Nangoma,” he added.
