The head of State listed key needs for the district.
“Gwembe needs roads. Network connectivity. Mining opportunities as they are readily. Agriculture. Electricity. Dams,” he said. “These stated economic activities are already on the move. We shall ensure that these get done.”
Hichilema thanked residents for acknowledging government efforts in education and job creation, and pledged continued delivery.
“All we are asking you nobana Munyumbwe, Gwembe in Southern Province is your vote this August,” he said. “We are glad that you acknowledge our efforts in the education sector, job creation among others. We will continue delivering for you all.”
He closed with a message of appreciation to the community.
“We love you. We care for you and we will continue delivering for you. Leza kamwembela lyonse,” he said.
Zambia will hold general elections on Aug. 13.
