PRESIDENT Hakainde Hichilema on Tuesday thanked residents of Luano District for their support and urged them to vote for his administration in the August elections.

President Hichilema said the community’s resolve “not to go back to those who used to harass citizens” showed Zambia was making progress. “We shall continue delivering for you. More jobs. More Agriculture support. More business opportunities,” Hichilema said. He said traditional leaders in Luano had encouraged the government to continue delivering development for all and had called on people to vote in August. “Ba Luano, go in large numbers and vote for us this August. Your vote means more development for you and our entire Country,” he said. Hichilema added that Luano would see more roads, schools and health facilities.
