What a great man! What an inspiring story!

As democracy would have it, of course not everyone appreciates his vision for Zambia today. But I firmly believe that future generations will look back and thank God for raising such an exemplary President from a village cattle boy and wish they had lived long enough to witness his reign.

When I look at President Hakainde Hichilema, I see yet another Biblical story unfolding right before our eyes. A story of God’s greatness and His authority to raise great leaders from the most unlikely circumstances to accomplish His purpose.

To me, Hichilema is God’s project to make Zambia great. He deliberately put in this guy, that rare ability to grow the national cake on one hand, while, on the other, ensures through his magnanimity and inclusive leadership, that every Zambian gets a fair share of it. Also Most of his policies are Pro-poor. Who on this earth cares about the poor except when there is a hand of God involved?

Secondly, After successfully gaining independence, Zambia had another battle to fight. The battle against tribalism.

We are a nation of more than 72 tribes, each with its own unique history, culture and identity. Yet, beneath all those differences, we are one people and one nation.

For decades, selfish politicians have tried to take advantage of this ethnic diversity to sow seeds of division and confusion among our people for personal and political gain.

And this is one of the most significant things about the Hakainde Hichilema story.

His rise to the Presidency has challenged and, in many ways, shattered some of the old misconceptions about our democracy, particularly the belief that the highest office in the land only belonged to people from certain tribes or regions.

His 2021 and 2026 electoral victories have fundamentally changed that narrative about who can become President of Zambia.

His victories have demonstrated that the Presidency does not belong to one tribe, one province, one region or one political dynasty.
It belongs to the Zambian people. And that is the new narrative we must protect.

From now on, any citizen can be President of Zambia provided their ideas and vision resonates with the aspirations of the majority Zambian people.

My advice to those in opposition is to learn from the Holly Bible. Those who oppose what God has ordained may question it, fight it and resist it. But no human being can overturn what God has purposed. Those who attempt to force their way against God's will, have often times had themselves crushed in the process.

If you're part of the God's leadership plan on this Nation, your time will come naturally. You do not need to use guns.

What we are witnessing now, is a chapter in our nation’s story that future generations will read with gratitude and say, Look at what God did for Zambia.
