EXODUS PARTY FOR PEACE AND PROSPERITY

10th July, 2026.

Notice
For Immediate Release

To: The National Executive Committee (NEC) Members and General Membership of the Party

Subject: Termination of Party Membership of Hon. Moses Mawere

Dear NEC Members and General Membership of the Party,

Following the unceremonious, rashly and unilateral decision by Hon. Moses Mawere to withdraw from the Citizen First-Orange Alliance and his subsequent decision of endorsement of the National Reconciliation Party for Unity and Prosperity (NRPUP) candidate Hon Brian Mundubile.

This notice serves to inform the National Executive Committee (NEC) Members and General membership of the Exodus Party for Peace and Prosperity (EPPP) that the decision made by the Party President is ultra vires and is in bad standing, ill-timed and devoid of adequate consultation within the Party members and Alliance Partners.

Under Clause 6(d) of the Constitution of the Party, “A member who, without the express approval of the National Executive Committee, affiliates with, campaigns for, or accepts a leadership role in a rival political party or movement shall be deemed to have automatically forfeited their membership.”

The membership of Hon. Mawere to the Party is hereby terminated forthwith and subsequently expelled subject to ratification at the Extra Ordinary National Delegates Conference (NDC) to be convened within the 60 days.

On behalf of the Members of the Party, I wish Hon. Mawere all the best in his future Political Career.

We wish to appeal to our members to remain calm, steadfast and resolved in order to grow our party for the betterment of our Mother Zambia.

Yours Sincerely,

Ndambo Ndambo
Party National Chairman
