Since the departure of Anthony Bwalya from State House, the position of Presidential Spokesperson has remained unoccupied, raising questions about who could effectively take up the important communication role.

Anthony understood his boss exceptionally well. Whenever he appeared on radio or television, he was able to articulate the President’s position clearly and confidently, while effectively communicating the thinking and direction of the Head of State.

The Presidential Spokesperson plays a critical role in ensuring that government policy and the President’s position are properly communicated to the public.

Sometimes, when you find someone who understands the assignment, understands the principal and delivers, there is nothing wrong with bringing them back.
