About the Role: Supervisor Mechanical Jobs in Lusaka Reporting directly to the Maintenance Coordinator for Crushers and Conveying, the successful candidate will oversee the safe and efficient operation of maintenance artisans, ensuring optimal utilization of all resources. This role demands leadership in coordinating daily activities of boilermakers, fitters, lubricators, contractors, and related personnel while upholding rigorous safety and maintenance standards. Key Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily maintenance activities in line with plant policies and safety regulations. Manage workforce scheduling including shift rosters, leave, and coverage to maintain operational continuity. Lead daily toolbox talks and safety meetings to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards. Review, prioritize, and execute weekly maintenance schedules focusing on critical and high-priority tasks. Develop, implement, and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all maintenance activities. Ensure strict adherence to maintenance procedures and directives from the Maintenance Coordinator. Evaluate maintenance performance, identify gaps, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability. Promote safe work practices and compliance with statutory and company safety regulations. Candidate Requirements Full Grade 12 School Certificate. Advanced Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Metal Fabrication, or a related field. At least three (3) years of proven experience in crushers and conveyor structural maintenance within mining or heavy industry. Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with SAP, CMMS, or ERP systems. Demonstrated initiative and ability to drive performance and continuous improvement in a results-oriented environment. Valid Zambian Driver’s License.
