EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES The Zambia Law Development Commission (ZLDC), a statutory body established under the Zambia Law Development Commission Act, Chapter 32 of the Laws of Zambia, invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced Zambians to fill the following vacant positions arising from the approved revised organisational structure. SENIOR RESEARCH OFFICER – SOCIAL RESEARCH (ZLDC 3) Reports to Manager, Research and Law Reform Job Purpose To undertake applied research to support evidence-based recommendations for law reform. Key Duties and Responsibilities Undertake applied research to inform evidence-based recommendations for law reform; Design and lead stakeholder engagement and consultation activities relevant to law reform initiatives, and provide technical input and clarification during these processes; Undertake post-legislative review work focusing on implementation and practical impact of legislation; Supervise Research Officers and manage delivery of assigned outputs. Minimum Qualifications and Experience Full Form V/Grade 12 School Certificate Bachelor of Arts Degree or related field; Minimum five (5) years’ post-qualification experience in legal research or policy analysis.; A minimum of 2 years of experience in a formal supervisory role, with demonstrated success in managing team performance, workflows, and operational delivery.
