Position Details Position: Sales and Marketing Intern Location: Lusaka, Zambia Key Responsibilities Support sales activities and customer engagement initiatives. Assist in identifying and engaging potential customers, including farmers, agro-dealers, distributors, and agribusinesses. Follow up on customer inquiries, orders, and product deliveries. Develop marketing strategies and creative promotional content. Support product launches, farmer training programs, and demonstrations. Manage social media platforms and assist in campaign development. Participate in field visits and customer meetings. Collaborate with the Sales and Marketing Manager on various projects. Qualifications and Requirements Recent graduate with a Certificate, Diploma, or Degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Horticulture, or a business-related program. Excellent written and spoken English communication skills. Basic understanding of agricultural products, farming practices, and agribusiness operations. Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work independently and within a team. Willingness to travel within and outside Lusaka. Must possess a valid driver’s license. Required Skills and Competencies Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Sales and negotiation abilities. Customer service orientation. Good analytical and research skills.
