WE’RE HIRING | QUALITY ASSURANCE OFFICER Location: Lusaka (Factory Based) Kachema Meat Supplies Ltd is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Officer to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about food quality, safety, and continuous improvement, while also gaining exposure to retail operations and marketing support. Key Responsibilities Quality Assurance Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards. Conduct routine quality inspections and product evaluations. Ensure GMP, hygiene, sanitation, and HACCP procedures are consistently followed. Investigate quality issues and recommend corrective actions. Maintain quality records and prepare inspection reports. Assist during regulatory inspections and internal audits. Support staff training on food safety and quality procedures. Retail & Marketing Support Assist the Retail & Marketing Manager with product launches and promotional activities. Conduct periodic quality assessments at retail outlets. Monitor product presentation, freshness, and merchandising standards. Collect customer feedback and provide reports to management. Support market visits, product sampling, and promotional campaigns where required. Minimum Requirements Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Quality Assurance, Microbiology, or a related field. At least 2 years’ experience in Quality Assurance within a food manufacturing environment (meat processing experience will be an added advantage). Good understanding of HACCP, GMP, food safety principles, and quality management systems. Strong analytical, communication, and report writing skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Willingness to work in both factory and retail environments. What We Are Looking For We are seeking someone who is proactive, organised, eager to learn, and able to work well with different teams.
