Department: Quality Assurance Reports to: Director of Quality Assurance About the Role The Quality Assurance Officer will play a pivotal role in supporting the development, implementation, monitoring, and enhancement of quality assurance systems across the University. The successful candidate will work closely with academic and administrative units to ensure compliance with institutional, national, and international quality standards while contributing to an outstanding student learning experience. Key Responsibilities Support the implementation and monitoring of Quality Assurance policies, procedures, and frameworks. Assist with programme accreditation, reaccreditation, and curriculum review processes. Monitor teaching, learning, and assessment practices across online, blended, and face-to-face delivery modes. Collect, analyse, and report on quality assurance data and performance indicators. Support quality audits, evaluations, and continuous improvement initiatives. Coordinate student evaluation processes and contribute to quality enhancement projects. Facilitate quality assurance training and awareness activities across the University. Requirements Qualifications Grade 12 School Certificate with at least five O-Level credits, including English and Mathematics. Bachelor’s Degree and Master’s Degree in a relevant field. Experience Minimum of 2–3 years' experience in a Quality Assurance role within a higher education institution. Experience with programme accreditation, reviews, and quality audits. Familiarity with Zambia's higher education regulatory frameworks, including HEA, ZAQA,and TEVETA. Experience in online and blended learning quality assurance will be an added advantage.
