To lead and manage the Quality Assurance function to ensure all food and feed products meet statutory, regulatory, and customer quality requirements. The QA Manager will develop, implement and maintain quality systems including HACCP, ISO 22000, and GMP to ensure product safety, quality, and continuous improvement. Responsibilities Ensure a safe workplace environment without risk to health. Lead and manage the company’s Quality Assurance and Food Safety Management Systems. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, industry standards, and customer specifications. Oversee ISO 22000/HACCP, GMP, sanitation, and quality control programs. Manage internal and external audits, including regulatory and certification audits. Monitor product quality and investigate customer complaints, non-conformances, and food safety incidents. Develop and implement corrective and preventive action plans. Conduct quality risk assessments and monitor key quality performance indicators. Ensure effective supplier quality assurance and raw material compliance. Provide training and guidance to employees on food safety, hygiene, and quality procedures. Prepare quality reports and present findings to senior management. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. Will carry out any other tasks assigned to him/her by the superiors. Qualifications /Experience Diploma, Bachelor’s in Food Science, Food Technology, Chemistry, Microbiology, Quality Management, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in quality assurance within the food manufacturing or processing industry. At least 3 years of supervisory or management experience. Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMP, ISO 22000, FSSC 22000, BRCGS, or other food safety standards. Experience in managing audits and regulatory inspections. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills. Excellent communication and report-writing abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
