POSITION SUMMARY The Purchasing & Supply Intern will support the Procurement Department in sourcing, purchasing, and inventory management activities to ensure timely delivery of goods and services to company projects and operations. KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES – Assist in sourcing suppliers and requesting quotations for goods and services – Prepare Local Purchase Orders, Goods Received Notes, and maintain procurement files – Support stock taking, inventory control, and warehouse management – Follow up with suppliers on deliveries to site and head office – Maintain supplier database and procurement records – Assist with tender and bidding document preparation – Perform any other duties as assigned by the Procurement Manager MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS – Must be a Zambian Citizen – Currently enrolled in or recently graduated with a Diploma/Degree in Purchasing & Supply, Procurement, Logistics, or Business Administration from a recognized institution – Minimum of Credit or 60% average – Computer literate: MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint – Must know how to bid using the e-GP platform on the ZPPA portal* – Must possess a valid Driver’s License* – Must be a member of ZIPS or CIPS* – Knowledge of ZPPA guidelines and ERP systems will be an added advantage – Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills – Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines – Willing to travel to project sites when required. – must be a Lusaka resident living near Northmead areas .
